ONEONTA - Ann M. Oliver, 95, of Oneonta, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, at A.O. Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta.
She was born on Oct. 17, 1922, in Oneonta, the daughter of Nicholas and Katerina Mondillo.
Ann was a lifelong resident of Oneonta. She worked at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital as a nurse's aide for many years.
She loved to attend the summer music festivals at Hunter Mountain, specifically the Polka Festival.
Ann loved to take bus trips. She traveled to many different states on Oneonta Bus Lines. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Oneonta.
Ann is survived by her granddaughters, Melissa Ewen and husband, Todd and great-grandchildren, Emma and Jack of Ballston Spa; Barbara Snyder, Cyndy Doroski (Herbie) of Oneonta; son-in-law, Fred Ouimet of Oneonta; nieces and nephews including, Carolyn Halbert (Dick), Joe Mondillo (Cheryl); many great-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, George W. Oliver; daughter, Shirlene Ouimet; siblings, Vince, Tony, Johnny, Angelina and Rosie; as well as her parents, Nicholas and Katerina.
Friends are invited to greet the family from 11 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Nov. 29, at the Lester R. Grummons Funeral Home, 14 Grand St, Oneonta, where a prayer service will take place immediately following at noon.
Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Emmons.
