ONEONTA - Bruce Douglas Hoyt, 96, of Oneonta, formerly of Walton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born Nov. 10, 1922, in Walton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Edith Miller Hoyt.
Bruce was a talented woodworker and was as a cabinetmaker for S.J. Bailey & Sons in Walton for more than 41 years. When Bruce wasn't at S.J. Bailey and Sons, he worked on his dairy farm in Walton or at a local stone quarry.
