FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Clive B. Wart, 86, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, in Fort Collins, Colorado. His loving wife, Dawn, was with him as he passed. He passed as he lived - as a strong, caring and loving man.
He was born on Oct. 23, 1931, to Clive Walter and Edna Mae Wart at Fox Hospital in Oneonta.
Clive proudly served his country in post-World War II Germany.
He married the love of his life, Dawn Burrows, on May 6, 1955, at Delhi Community Church.
Clive had several loves in his life, his wife of 62 years; his children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and always having some project to tinker on and think on. He was loved, respected and adored by all he knew.
In addition to his loving wife, Clive is survived by and adored by his daughter, Bonnie Lee Holmberg of Greeley, Colorado; son, John William Wart and his wife, Karalee of Loveland, Colorado; son, Clive Douglas Wart of Denver, Colorado; and daughter, Michelle Renee Crocker and husband, Cory of Russell, Kansas; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two adoring sisters, Cheryl Lynn Newton of Oneonta and Sandra Jean Cerosaletti of Unadilla.
He was preceded in death by two of his adoring sisters, Elaine Codington of Sidney and Barbara Ada Ackerly of Oneonta.
