David was predeceased by his mother, Myrtle; father, Basil; brother, Gerald; and sister, Barbara Secord.
"Papa had many stories of things and places he went in his lifetime. He loved sitting on the porch with my dog, Ariel at his side. They were best friends and Papa would always joke that she was his dog. Ariel passed two weeks before Papa, so they are together in heaven. He enjoyed hunting and traveling in his camper when he was younger. He would also go camping at Nickerson Park over by Gilboa with my mom and I. I'm thankful for all my good memories with him. Love you Papa," ~Cassidy McGregor.
Funeral services, with full military honors, will be held in May and will be announced.
