ONEONTA - Wally passed away on Labor Day and will be deeply missed.
Wally was a wonderful brother, uncle and friend to many. He always had a joke to share and loved to laugh and make fun out of every situation. He was very generous and loved his family.
His passions were sailing, photography, computers and technology.
His fondest times were spent with family and friends on Fire Island, where he spent his summers as child and an adult.
He was a graduate of Citadel Military College and served in the United States Army as a First Lt. as a Battery Commander.
He worked at Western Electric as a business analyst.
Wally leaves behind his sister, Joan Pickhardt, 89; many nephews and cousins.
Graveside services for Wally have yet to be scheduled.
