YONKERS - Eloise D. Langdon, 97, a longtime resident of Yonkers and Columbus, passed away on Dec. 7, 2017, following a long illness.
She was born in Manhattan on March 27, 1920, to Walter and Eleanor Harsnett (nee Berwanger) and was an alumnus of Hunter College and New York University.
Eloise was an enthusiastic person who loved life, fashion and dance.
On June 26, 1948, she married William M. Langdon, a former student, who predeceased her on March 25, 1999.
She is survived by her daughter, Heidi of Yonkers; son, Gerard "Greg," daughter-in-law, Jeanne (nee Swadey), and granddaughter, Alexandra "Xandry," all of Oneonta.
She was predeceased by two sons, Michael and Gregory.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 13, at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 24 N. Main St., New Berlin. Interment will follow in the Columbus Corners Cemetery.
