Frank J. Ambrose, 60, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at his residence.
"God has you in his keeping. We have you in our hearts."
He was born on March 7, 1957 in the Bronx; the son of Francis and Mary (Grosser) Ambrose.
Frank was a longtime EMT/Paramedic in many locations throughout New York State.
He was an area resident for almost 20 years.
Frank was an avid reader with an interest in history; especially military history. He enjoyed reading and discussing politics and current events. Anyone that knew Frank would recall him as an avid story teller. He was proud of being a paramedic and his family will remember his kindness and boisterous laugh.
He is survived by his mother Mary Ambrose, his sister Elizabeth McDonald, his niece Karen Whalen and her husband James, his aunt Lea Grosser and several cousins.
He was predeceased by his father Frank, his brother Freddy Ambrose and his niece Megan McDonald.
A private burial will be held at the Schenevus Cemetery at a later date.
