Gail Thomas's Story
TODDSVILLE - Gail Thomas Pillar, 75, of Toddsville and New Hartford, passed away Aug. 8, 2017, in her cherished Toddsville home, surrounded by her family.
Gail is survived by her husband, Walt; children, Brian Butler, his wife, Siobhan and daughters, Joanie and Sinead; Wendy Macfarlane and daughters, Alexandra, Jill and Megan; and Keith Butler, his wife, Jennifer and daughter, Mairen; step-daughters, Heather Pillar, her husband, Tom Pado and daughters, Eliane and Emeline and Laura Pillar; her brothers, Carlton (Butch) Thomas Jr. and William Thomas; many nieces, nephews, cousins and very special friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Carlton Sr. and Marion Thomas and sister, Jill Thomas Coddington.
Gail spent her life making things "better" - whether it was her family property in Toddsville, an old piece of furniture, a holiday gathering, or a broken heart. She adored her grandchildren, and was a very big part of their lives. Anyone who knew Gail could see she always gave so much and took so little.
The family will have a private memorial service.
