BAINBRIDGE - Gordon A. Carr, 64, of Bainbridge, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.
He was born Jan. 10, 1954, in Sidney to Chester and Anita (Reynolds) Carr.
He married Ruth A. Gorski on Oct. 10, 1985, in Afton.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Ruth A. Carr, Bainbridge; two children, Kristen Tofsrud, Candor, Jennifer and Gary Scott, Masonville; five grandchildren, Kalebb, Lilly, Dante, Kori and Allison; two great-grandchildren, Macen and Kalebb Jr.; sisters, Carol Whitehill, Oxford, and Jeanette Robertson, Bainbridge; brothers and sisters-in-law, Chester and Kathy Carr, Bainbridge, Walter and Cheryl Carr, Afton, Randy Carr, Canton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
He was retired from the Town of Bainbridge Highway Department.
In his free time, he enjoyed, camping, hunting, Bluegrass music, and tinkering on motors.
He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, Ernest Carr.
Calling hours will be from 3 to 5 p.m., Friday, followed by services at 5 p.m., all at the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home, 123 Main St., Unadilla.
Burial will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Unadilla, at a later date.
