Jonathan's Story

GREENFIELD, N.H. - Jonathan Samson Aldrich, 93, of Greenfield, New Hampshire, died peacefully at Pheasant Wood Center on Feb. 24, 2018.
Jonathan was born in Stamford on Jan. 21, 1925, the youngest son of Adelbert and Hannah (Preston) Aldrich.
Jonathan was raised in Stamford and attended local schools there. He graduated as the salutatorian of his class at South Kortright Central High School.
After serving in the United States Army, he settled in Hobart where he raised his family.
Jonathan owned and operated a small dairy farm. He was an active member of the Kingdom Ministries, where he served as deacon for several years. He will be remembered as a person who was always ready and willing to help others.
Jonathan is survived his sons, Floyd of Durham, Maine, Andrew of North Berwick, Maine, Warren of Greenfield, New Hampshire, Jon of Boston, Massachusetts, Vernon of Elsmere, Kentuckty, and Burton of Stamford. He will also be missed by 22 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be announced soon and will be held at the Fairwood Bible Institute, 18 Fairwood Drive, Dublin, New Hampshire.
