SIDNEY - Kelsie Marie Ford, 22, of Sidney, passed away on Sept. 11, 2017.
Kelsie was born June 5, 1995, in Binghamton and graduated from Greene High School with the Class of 2014.
She is survived lovingly by her mother, Kimberly (Miller) Ford of Greene and father, Thomas Ford of Sidney;, her stepmother, Lorrie (Walter) Ford, her sisters, Jessica (Ford) Metzger and Elizabeth Ford and her fiancé, Dominic Williams of Sidney. Among the many survivors that loved Kelsie dearly are her maternal and paternal grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Throughout her life, Kelsie loved spending time with her immediate and extended family, visiting Maine, spending time at the ocean and cheering on her Red Sox. She loved writing poetry and found great joy in the written word, where she could best express herself. In her brief life, she developed a love of helping children, particularly those living with disabilities, serving first as a teacher's aid at Springbrook and most recently at Sidney High School.
In celebration of Kelsie's life, a private family viewing will be held Friday, Sept. 15, followed by a service, open to the public, at 3 p.m. at CH Landers Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Sidney.
