KANSAS CITY, Kansas - Kenneth R. "Ken" Zaengle, 39, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on Sept. 6, 2017.
Ken was born Jan. 31, 1978, to Lambert and Marilyn (Guy) Zaengle.
He is survived by his three loving children, Oden, 15, Evan, 8, and Ellie, 7; his mother, Marilyn (Guy) Zaengle; uncle and aunt, Joe and Lynn Guy of Fort Worth, Texas; his brothers and sisters, Joe and Diane of Hillsboro, North Carolina, Bud and Sally of Greene, Bill and Tina of Westhampton, Massachusetts, Don and Chris of Worcester, Guy (Tom) and Janice of Scotia, Jim and Mary of Cooperstown, Ed and Soo of Libertyville, Illinois, Annie and Mark Rogers of Shawnee, Kansas, C.C. Field of Milford, Mary and John Klockowski of Norwich, Janet and Todd Zimmer of Roland Park, Kansas, and Jeannie and Patrick Wilshire of Altoona, Pennsylvania; and his 33 nephews and nieces.
Ken grew up in Worcester. A 1996 graduate of Worcester Central School, he attended SUNY Oswego, and lived and worked as a stone mason in Kansas City for many years, using his talents to create stone work in the area. He would want his children to remember the times they spent together making campfires, stargazing, painting, and playing in the park.
Ken is predeceased by his father, Lambert F. Zaengle; and brother, John F. Zaengle.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date at the convenience of the family.
