Siro's Story

Text size

ONEONTA - Siro Mark Vergari left this world on the wings of angels Aug. 17, 2017. He was 27 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Hartman; his father, Mark Vergari; his brothers and sisters, Aaron, Keli, Elijah, Clairice, Giulian, and Danielle; his grandfather, Siro Vergari; his grandmother, Beverly Olive; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Siro was a wonderful and kind son, brother, uncle, grandson and friend. He always had the biggest smile that could light up any room. Siro marched to the beat of his own drum and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was happiest surrounded by nature. He loved music festivals, camping, hiking, golfing, bonfires and taking care of his chickens. He was a free spirit that preferred the natural side of life. He was an intelligent human being that viewed the world as only our Siro could have.
Siro will be deeply missed by his family and friends and all who had the pleasure of meeting him and knowing him.
He was predeceased by his grandmother, Joan Vergari; his aunt, Noël Ranieri, and his brother-in-law, Rick Martinichio.
Friends are invited to greet the family on from noon to 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 25, at the Lester R. Grummons Funeral Home, 14 Grand St, Oneonta.
In trying to do what Siro would want, in lieu of flowers, go enjoy the green side of life, smile and tell someone you love them and hold on tight.
Condolences may be made to Siro's family online at www.grummonsfuneralhome.com.
Arrangements are by the Lester R. Grummons Funeral Home, Oneonta.
