Mrs Alberta Ann (Hickling) Fitch Obituary
New Smyrna Beach, FL - Alberta A. Fitch, 92, formerly of Edmeston, passed away peacefully at her home on Sept. 8, 2025. She was the daughter of Rolland R. and Merab E. (Harrington) Hickling.
She married Gordon Lee Fitch, spending 61 devoted years together. In 1958, they moved to Florida and ran a dairy and poultry farm. A 1950 graduate of Edmeston Central School, she was a retired nurse, devoted to her family and church.
Alberta is survived by four sons; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters; two brothers; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, parents, and brothers Rolland Jr., Anthony and Vincent.
Services will be in Florida on Sept. 15, 2025, at South Haven Christian Church, with interment at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens.
