Ana Vendemmia (Ana) Obituary
Oneonta, NY - It is with profound sadness and immense love that we announce the passing of Ana Hilda Vendemmia, 92, of Oneonta, who departed this life on July 18, 2026. A beloved wife and mother, she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, strength and a deep commitment to her family and her faith.
Ana was born on March 6, 1934, to the late Francisca Garcia and Francisco Rotger from Juncos, Puerto Rico. On July 21, 1956, Ana married the love of her life, Frank Vendemmia. Their love story lasted 70 years. They had three children, Cynthia Ann Cruz, who predeceased her; daughter, Melody (Eric Newton); and son, Frank Jr.
Ana also leaves behind three granddaughters, Tara, Ashley, and Kayla; and grandson, Niki; plus seven great-grandchildren; as well as four siblings, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
Ana had a passion for helping others. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Family came first, but she always had time to help others in the community. Ana was a devoted Catholic.
