STAMFORD - Ann M. Jones, born Oct. 25, 1923, in Bayonne, New Jersey, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016. She was the daughter of William and Margaret Jordan.
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Bjellquist and husband, Dennis of Rockaway, New Jersey, Janet Herrick of Catskill; four grandchildren, Richard F. Jones and wife Alice, Caitlin, Jenna and Kenny Bjellquist; one niece and nephew.
She was predeceased by her husband, Franklyn; daughter, Dorothy Murphy; son, Richard N. Jones; grandson, Michael W. Jones; and nephew, William Howard.
Ann was the business manager for her husband's Texaco Petroleum Products Distributorship for many years in the Grand Gorge area.
In later years, Ann worked in the business office of Robinson Terrace in Stamford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 12, at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Main Street, in Stamford.
Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Stamford.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123, www.cancer.org/involved/donate/otherwaystogive/donate-by-mail-or-phone.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Hall Funeral Home, Stamford, under the direction of William A. Tari.
