ROCHESTER - Anne Elizabeth (Klukkert) Ruske, 80, of Greece, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at the St. Ann's Care Facility of Rochester, due to complications of Parkinson's disease.

Anne was born on Oct. 14, 1937, the daughter of Everett M. and Edna E. (Butler) Klukkert in Delhi.

She was a 1954 graduate of Delaware Academy High School and a 1956 graduate of the State University of New York at Delhi.

She was united in marriage to Roy L. Ruske Jr. on April 16, 1960, at the First Presbyterian Church in Delhi.

Anne worked for many years at Eastman Kodak until her retirement in 1986. She and her husband then moved to Selkirk, during which time she became a librarian at the Ravena Community Public Library.

Anne was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a talented baker and made wonderful cookies, pies, cakes, and brownies. She enjoyed watching her granddaughters' various school events and activities. Other favorite pastimes included reading and watching baseball. She had a big heart and adopted many stray pets during her lifetime. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Anne is survived by her husband, Roy Ruske; her daughter, Susan (Don) Burns of Greece; her son, Ted (Ann) Ruske of Robins, Iowa; three granddaughters, Kellie Burns, Taylor Burns and Sydney Ruske; her sister, Jane O'Dell of DeLancey; along with nieces, Lois and Vicky Klukkert and nephews, Randy (Laurie) and Art Allen; as well as Elaine Tantalo, a special lifelong friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Doris M. Allen; and brother, Robert E. Klukkert.

There will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.
