Audrie L.  Knapp
COOPERSTOWN - Audrie L. Knapp, a retired graphic artist and longtime resident of Manhattan, passed away Thursday morning, Jan. 30, 2020, at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown. She was 97.
Born May 1, 1922, in Yonkers, she was a daughter of Clarence and Veronica (Nyahay) Knapp.
She attended the Cooper Union School of Art in New York City, where she earned a bachelor's degree in fine arts. She pursued a career as a graphic artist and enjoyed painting and photography throughout her life. She was an avid lover of animals as well.
In 2012 she moved to Cooperstown to live with her niece, Susan LaBudde and Jack LaBudde, later residing at Woodside Hall and lastly Cooperstown Center.
Audrie is survived by her sister, Dale Quatrocci; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no services.
Memorial donations may be made to the Susquehanna SPCA, 4841 State Highway 28, Cooperstown, NY 13326.
Arrangements are with the Connell, Dow & Deysenroth Funeral Home in Cooperstown.
