Stamford, New York - STAMFORD - Barbara Stryker, 89, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022.
Born on Nov. 23, 1932 in Manorkill, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Leita (Briggs) DeWitt.
Barbara retired as office manager of Catskill Craftsmen Inc., Stamford.
Sonny and Barbara loved to meet with their friends for coffee and chat. She also enjoyed talking on the telephone with family and friends.
Besides her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Kenneth "Sonny" Stryker earlier this month; son, Kenneth in 2002; along with her five siblings.
She is survived by her children, Tina Mirtallo (Kim Arch) of Stamford and Dennis Stryker of Marietta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Jennifer, and Blake; four great-grandchildren, Megan, Alyssa, Lilly and Jason II; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, in Stamford Cemetery.
