Peoria, AZ - Beth Evans was born Feb. 10, 1930 to Clarence and Leah Evans in Oneonta. She graduated valedictorian from Laurens Central school in 1947. She attended Baptist Bible Seminary in Johnson City. She married Andrew J. Himes in 1950 who predeceased her in 2003. They moved from Oneonta to Peoria, Arizona in 1976. Beth was a member of the Great Commission Reformed Church. Among her varied interests, she was an avid Barbie doll collector.
She is survived by sons, Thomas and Raymond and daughter, Melanie (Himes) Jones as well as seven grandchildren.
She will be interred beside her husband and parents in Lena Cemetery.
