Chenango Bridge, NY - CHENANGO BRIDGE - Betty Lisiesky passed away March 1, 2026. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Andy; children, John (Gail), and Robert; stepchildren, David (Connie), Donna, and Chris (Ray); and grandchildren, Melody, Jill (Brett), and Leslie. She was predeceased by her stepson, Carl, and son-in-law Fred.

Betty finished 6th grade in Fly Creek, then attended Cooperstown high school, graduating in 1961. She kept in touch with half of her 68 classmates along the way. She started her career as secretary to the assistant manager at Bassett Hospital and later bookkeeping for Andy's plumbing business with Local 112 union. She retired from the Broome County Purchasing Dept. Betty's greatest job title throughout all these years was, "mother", where she dedicated her life to family and raised all her children with a lasting and gentle love.

Betty and Andy first met at the Corn Field in Fly Creek. Betty was daughter to Christina Pushlar and William Semrov. Betty is also survived by close cousins Allan, Larry Thayer and Donna Thayer (Hubble) from the Cooperstown area and Thomas and Angela Semrov from the Dale City, Virginia area.
