Carol Lawrence, 81, of Grand Gorge, died Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Robinson Terrace.
Carol was born Dec. 25, 1942, in New York City.
The daughter of August and Cleo Jacob, Carol married Martin Lawrence (deceased 2013) on July 11, 1961, in Bronxville.
Carol earned a Master of Education degree from Skidmore College and proceeded to teach in Middleburgh Central School for 27 years.
Carol enjoyed camping, painting, her family and her dogs.
She is survived by her four children, Martin, Jeffrey, Cynthia and William (Cyndi); grandchildren, James, Alex, Madeline and Molly; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial visitation at Miller Funeral Home from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Friday, April 19, will be followed by a short service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol's memory to Heart of the Catskills Humane Society, Delhi.
