SUMMIT - Carol Jane (Shafer) Miller, 84, of Charlotte Valley Road, Summit, passed away Jan. 10, 2017, following a long illness.
She was born in Fulton to Emma (Cole) Shafer and Charlie Shafer.
She is survived by her children, Carl Miller Jr. (Janet) of Jefferson, Kevin Miller of Charlotteville, Elizabeth Thomas of Davenport, Cathy Miller (John) of Jefferson, Connie Chase of Summit, Pastor Alan Miller (Ester) of Schuyler Lake, and Brian Miller of Richmondville. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Miller Sr.; daughter, Helen Stannard; parents; sister, Thora; and two brothers, Willard and Harold.
There will be no funeral or calling hours.
