COOPERSTOWN - Kitty Brudzienski died on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at age 91. Born in Riverhead, she married Walter "Red" Brudzienski there in April, 1950. He predeceased Kitty.
Kitty worked for many years at the Otsego County Dept. of Social Services and thereafter as a weaver at the Farmers Museum.
She is survived by her nephew John Schwartz and his wife Linda of Pennsylvania. They would like to thank Stephen Cadwalader and the staff and volunteers at Woodside Hall for filling Kitty's life with fun.
The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be offered at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church on Elm Street in Cooperstown. Following the service there will be an ice cream social honoring Kitty at 3:30 p.m. at Woodside Hall, 1 Main St. Please consider wearing purple or frogs in Kitty's honor; it would be a wonderful tribute to an amazing lady.
