CLERMONT, Fla. - Longtime Oneonta resident Catherine Little Robinson, passed away in the company of her loving daughter, Alice Robinson Abad, on April 12, at 99.5 years of age.
Catherine was married to the late physics professor George F. Robinson (2008) of SUCO.
Catherine raised six children in Oneonta and had six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Catherine's family would like her to be remembered for incredible generosity to children and animals. Filling the big kid-friendly family home on Central Avenue were exchange students, visiting scholars, teenagers in need of housing and several cats, who chose Catherine's hospitality over other options.
She is survived by her six children, Jane Hobler, Louise Nelson, Alice Robinson-Abad, Margaret Robinson, Thomas Robinson and Gerald Robinson. In addition she is survived by six grandchildren, Philip and Michael Hobler, Lauren and Justin Paredes, Noah and Jeremy Lutz. Her great-grandchildren are Finn, Sebastian, Matheus and Ari Hobler.
