MORRIS - Chester Edward Radwan, 86, of Morris, died Nov. 27, 2024. He was born Oct. 2, 1938, to Louis and Antoinette Radwan, in Garfield, New Jersey.

Chet graduated from Garfield High School and went on to become a Heavy Machinery Mechanic.

He married in 1960, moved to Hawthorne, New Jersey, and had four children.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting and spending time with his family and friends. Chet was involved in Hawthorne youth athletics. He loved sports, especially football. He brought many friends and family to love the outdoors by bringing them to his country home.

Chet is survived by his longtime love, Karin Eggleston; beloved children, Louis, David and his wife Kolene, Chester, and Cheryl and her fiancé, Bill; grandchildren, Shane, Alyssa, Tristan, Cierra, Julia, Lauren, and Sean; and his sister, Christine, as well as nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Antoinette Radwan, his brother, Edward Radwan, and his sister, Pauline Rolick.

Memorials or donations may be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 7 at the American Legion at 22 Union St. in Sidney.
