DELHI - Christine B. Barlow, 81, of Delhi, passed away late Monday evening, Feb. 17, 2020, at Robinson Terrace in Stamford, following a long illness.
She was born on Aug. 7, 1938, in New York City. Christine was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Marie A. (Minnette) Steinfelder, DDS.
Christine was a registered nurse. She acquired her education and first worked in various hospitals in New York City, then Catskill Regional Hospital in Harris then she settled into Delhi and retired from O'Connor Hospital.
She loved animals of all kinds, a passion that drew her to purchase a farm here in Delaware County, where she could enjoy several animals.
She married her beloved husband of 21 years, Richard Barlow.
Besides her husband, Richard, she is survived by her children, Harry and Tove; and a granddaughter, Chrystal.
Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Hall & Peet Funeral Home, 134 Main St., Delhi.
Graveside services and burial will be held in the spring in Woodland Cemetery, Delhi.
