SOUTH KORTRIGHT - Christine H. Roy, 70, passed away on Feb. 1, 2022.
She was born to the late Waldo H. Roy and Dorothy Roy Dyer.
Chrissie resided with her mother, Dorothy, her entire life until her mother's death in November 2020. They had split their residences between South Kortright and Yuma, Arizona, since 1985.
In New York, Chrissie loved to help her mother with cooking, caring for the house, flower gardens and lawn.
In Arizona, Chrissie and her mom were active member of the Red Hat Society. Chris had many years of enjoyment being a Red Hat member and attending the monthly luncheons and numerous side activities and trips of their local chapter.
She was also fortunate to have many wonderful travels around the country with her parents and later years with her mother and stepfather, William J. Dyer.
Chrissie was blessed with a loving family and is survived by her siblings, Patricia Bleimeyer, Dorothy Kemper and Robert Roy.
She was predeceased by her father, Waldo H. Roy; mother, Dorothy Roy Dyer; and stepfather, William J. Dyer.
A private service will be held by the family at a later date.
Her family thanks everyone who touched Chrissie's life and made it shine.
