DAVENPORT - Clinton T. Collins, 73, of Davenport, passed away on Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, at the NYS Veterans Home at Oxford.

Born on March 17, 1949, in Stamford, he was the son of Clinton C. and Rosamond (Clark) Collins.

Clinton was a graduate of Stamford Central School and SUNY Delhi, following his graduation he proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1970 until his honorable discharge in 1976.

He was married to his loving wife of 51 years, Kandy MacLaury on Aug. 21, 1971.

Mr. Collins owned and operated Wilson Roofing in Oneonta and owned and operated CK Collins Logging. Clinton later retired from the NYSDEC.

He was a true outdoorsman. Clinton enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping, however his greatest joy was spending time with his granddaughter, Honnah.

Besides his father, Clinton was predeceased by a brother, Scott Collins.

He is survived by his wife, Kandy Collins of Davenport; mother, Rosamond Collins of Stamford; daughter, Rebecca (Paul) Garrison of Davenport; granddaughter, Honnah (Tanner Cole) Garrison of Davenport and nephews, Garrett (Matthew) and Patrick Collins.

At Clinton's request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
