Oneonta, NY - ONEONTA - Craig S. Goodrich, 64, passed away with his daughters by his side on July 27, 2025 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown, after a lengthy illness.

He was born Nov. 21, 1960 in Oneonta, the son of Kenneth and Marion (Gray) Goodrich.

Craig grew up in Colliersville and attended Oneonta School District.

For 21 years Craig worked for the Oneonta City School District as a groundskeeper and in the janitorial department.

He was best known for his sense of humor, laughter and smile. No matter what battle he was facing (although not always with appropriate humor) it gave him much happiness in making someone laugh with a quick crack of a joke. He was an amazing father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by mother, Marion Hammond; daughters, Leslie Goodrich and Natalie Goodrich (Gregg Conklin); grandchildren, Logan Ruthbun, Aaliya Conklin, Kylie Jackman, and Grayson Conklin; siblings, Joanne Sandford (Dennis), Reggie Goodrich (Laura) and Patrick Goodrich; nieces and nephews, Justin, Kyle, Erika, Corey, Joey and Stacy.

At Craig's request there will be a celebration of life at 1 p.m. Sept. 20at 278 Tansy Hill Road, Milford.
