RICHFIELD SPRINGS - Dale Edward Marzeski, born in Cooperstown, passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Dale grew up in Richfield Springs and graduated from Richfield Springs Central School in 1966 and joined the Air Force. Most of his active duty was in Okinawa, Japan, where he met his devoted wife Kiyo, "Kay." After serving 21 years, he retired in 1987 and returned home. He then worked at Richfield Springs Central School from 1990 until retiring in 2017.

Dale enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Dale was predeceased by his mother, Mary Joslyn Marzeski and his father, Edward Marzeski.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kiyo Marzeski; brother, Joel Marzeski (Patty); sisters, Mary Lou Butler (Jim), Marcia Goodale (Tom) and Joan Marzeski; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in Dale's honor in Lakeview Cemetery in Richfield Springs at 11:30 a.m., Aug. 12.
