Worcester, MA - WORCESTER, Mass. - Daniel Joseph Ryan, 79, of Worcester, Massachusetts went home to dance with his bride, Cheryl (Van Tassel) Ryan, Nov. 25, 2025.
Dan was a beloved father to his daughters, Cheryl Chan and her husband Alex, of Hubbardston, Massachusetts; Patricia Ryan, of Binghamton; Bridget Snell and her husband Matthew, of Duxbury; and Meaghon Ryan, of Leominster, Massachusetts. He was a loving brother to Eileen Ryan, Molly Gray, and Sheila Richer of Syracuse, and an adoring grandfather to Nicholas Chan, Ryan Gordon, Isabelle Chan, Chynna Moore, Mary Snell and Juliet Snell.
He was predeceased by his parents James and Alice Ryan of LaFayette; brother, James Ryan; sisters, Agnes Naeglin, Kathleen Sunshine Smiling Simonds, Susan Hawks and Mary Anne Ryan.
A service to remember and celebrate Dan will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, with stories and eulogies at 12:30 p.m. at Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn, Massachusetts. A Mass will also be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at St. Joseph's Church at 6104 US-20 in Lafayette.
