David E. Ackerman OTEGO - David E. Ackerman, 73, of Otego, passed away at home on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013. He was born May 29, 1940, in Hackensack, N.J., the son of the late Melvin and Muriel (Worth) Ackerman. David was a veteran of the United State Air Force having served three years. He was a dairy farmer for 18 years and was self-employed in the computer business for 20 years. He was predeceased by his love, Alana Craven. He is survived by three sons, David and Tina, Kenneth and Christine, and Brian and Rosemary; grandchildren, Joe, Kenny, Jeffrey, Molly, Emily, Sarah and Jonathan; and five great-grandchildren; and his brothers, Melvin and Jay. Also survived by Elyse Fahey who became a dear friend and daughter to him, she cared for his every move throughout his illness. Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
