ONEONTA - David Izzillo, 71, passed away Dec. 7, 2024 at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown.

He was born May 5, 1953 in Albany, the son of Akillas and Minnie (Ellis) Izzillo.

David worked at the Workshop for The Arc Otsego. He loved Mickey Mouse, and having his nails painted with bright vibrant colors. He was a man with a great dry sense of humor and delivered the best one-liners. David was always willing to help others, was a best friend to many, and was an overall nice good guy to all.

He is survived by his brother, Ron and Sarah Baisley, and their sons, Adam and Evan; and his friends and family at Springbrook.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the start of the memorial service at noon Friday, Dec. 13, at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta. The Rev. John Buddle will officiate.

Interment will be in Oneonta Plains Cemetery at a later date.
