NEW BERLIN - Debra J. Ackermann, 72, of New Berlin, peacefully passed away on Dec. 29, 2023, at home, surrounded by her family.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Daniel R. Ackermann; children, David and Bethann Moore of Sherburne, Kristen Moore of Florida, Alisha and Christopher Norwood of South New Berlin, Chad and Jessica Ackermann of Norwich, Daniel Ackermann of Cortland and Nichole Ackermann of Cortland; 20 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Albert Marino; sister, Kathy Parker; brother-in- law, Dennis Parker; and granddaughter, Brittney Keann Scriver.
Debbie loved going to the beach and was an avid bowler. She was known for raising turkeys and geese and also her great lasagna. Most of all, she was loved by her family and friends.
A celebration of Debra's life will be announced at a later date.
