OTEGO - Denise Ann Wright, 68, of Otego passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022, at home.
Denise was born on May 4, 1954, in Stamford, the daughter of the late James and Ruth (Epps) Wright Sr.
Denise worked for many years as a ward clerk for Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown, and as a result knew so many people in the area.
She enjoyed going to Jim's clambakes, music by Jim's band and going on trips.
Denise is survived by her loving family, brothers, James (Sandra) Wright of Walton, William (Brenda) Wright of Otego, Joseph (Amy) Wright of Burlington Flats; sisters, Janice Knight of Belmont, Massachusetts and Lisa (Scott Collins) Wright of Nashville, North Carolina; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held in the spring at a time and date to be announced.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
