HOBART - Doris M. Clark, 93, of Hobart, passed away at her home on Monday morning, Oct. 10, 2022.
Born on Sept. 11, 1929, in Harpersfield, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Clara (Lyons) Champlin.
For more than 50 years, Doris worked for the former Bathgate Hospital and then finally retired from Robinson Terrace Nursing Home.
Besides her parents, Doris was predeceased by her beloved companion, Ray Halstead; children, Amy and Jack; and granddaughter, Nancy.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Gordon) Key of Hobart; grandchildren, Jeremy, Chris, Brian and Renee; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Chelsea; siblings, Margaret Decker, Donna Champlin and Leon Champlin; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 13, at MacArthur Funeral Home, 15 Buntline Drive, Stamford, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 14. Burial will follow in Locust Hill Cemetery, Hobart.
