SPRINGFIELD CENTER - Elizabeth Daley, 77, of Springfield Center, passed away Feb. 17, 2024, at home surrounded by family.
Elizabeth was born in Manchester, Connecticut, in 1946.
After high school, she earned her bachelor's degree, married Richard, her high school sweetheart, and completed her master's degree. She and Richard were married for 54 years and had five beloved children.
No stranger to hard work, Elizabeth spent her time working to teach, guide and nurture. She had a true passion for working with children, both at home and professionally, spending almost two decades at Brookwood School. Elizabeth will be dearly missed by everyone she knew and had an impact on.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Julie (Barry), Patrick, Jennifer (Patrick), Kyle (Brad), and Kimberly (Jeffrey); and her grandchildren, Isabel, Emmett, Liam, Penelope, Charles, Eleanor and Andrew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; granddaughter, Griffin; siblings, Billy Tip, Robert, Clifford, and Sarah; and parents, Eleanor and Clifford.
Calling hours, from 3 to 5 p.m., Friday, March 1, will be followed by services at Tillapaugh Funeral Home, 28 Pioneer St., Cooperstown.
