STAMFORD - Elizabeth Smith Graver of Stamford, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, at The Pavilion at Robinson Terrace, at the age of 94.

Betty was born Aug. 23, 1928, in Delhi, to W. Roy Smith and Isabel Chamber Smith.

Following graduation from Stamford Central School she started working for New York Telephone and retired in 1984.

Betty was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Oneonta, Telephone Pioneers in Stamford, and Harpersfield Senior Club.

Surviving her is a daughter, Deborah (Vance McEntee) Graver of Hobart; son, Gary (Ginny) Graver of Altamont; son-in-law, Gordon Flummer of Florida; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Marie) Smith of Windham; sister-in-law, Julia Smith of Virginia; special friend, Janice Frazee of Hobart; cousin, Jim (Terry) Matthews of Oneonta; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Besides her parents, Betty was predeceased by her daughter, Doreen Flummer; brother, Robert R. Smith; sister, Dorothy McCue and husband, John McCue.

According to Betty's wishes there will be no viewing or funeral services.
