DELANCEY - Elizabeth J. "Betty" Little, 86, of Fall Clove, DeLancey, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021.
Born on Feb. 16, 1935, in Arkville, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen (York) Decker. She was married to John Albert Little on June 24, 1955, in Arkville.
Betty enjoyed her family, walking, word searches, embroidery, and winning ribbons at the Delaware County Fair. She was a member of the Cabin Hill Presbyterian Church.
Besides her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband, Albert; and siblings, Irene, Marylou, Shirley and Bob.
She is survived by her children, Jean (Jim) Bright of Delhi and John W. Little of DeLancey; granddaughter, Christine Miller and great-grandchildren, Madison and Gus of Hobart; grandson, Gregg (Marie) Forsman and great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Abby and Aryanna of Florida; grandson, John Ryan (Mary) Little and great-grandchildren, Maryn and John Lachlan of Jefferson; granddaughter, Beth Little (Ryan Abbate) of Andes; sisters, Marie Mead and Bev Banks; brother, Bill York; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be announced at a later date.
Contributions in memory of Betty may be made to the Cabin Hill Presbyterian Church or Andes Emergency Squad.
