Pittsford, NY - PITTSFORD - Ellen P. Barraco passed away Oct. 13, 2025 at the age of 98.

Ellen was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Barraco. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Lhota and Jill Richards; granddaughter Dayton Walsh (John); three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Ellen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and teacher. Ellen taught in several schools, spending most of her 40-year career teaching first grade in Pittsford Central schools. She loved her students and her work. She was a passionate reader throughout her life and was a keen observer of the natural world, which she loved. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
