Ellen M. Mancuso Obituary
PITTSFIELD - Ellen Mancuso passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, at Albany Medical Center.
Born in Queens Village, Queens, to Ralph and Martha Bender, she and her sisters and brother were raised in Bellmore, Long Island.
She and her husband moved to Pittsfield in 1990 where they raised four children.
She loved her family and cousins, many of who lived in Connecticut. Family reunions on the lake and playing cards was something she loved to do.
An LPN, Ellen worked in various nursing homes in Upstate New York.
Her hobbies were silk screening and repurposing items. She had a great fondness for anything with grapes or angels.
She sang with the choir at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in New Berlin and served as a Women's Fire Auxiliary volunteer in Pittsfield.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Blair Mancuso; son, Jonathan and his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Kristina and her husband, Jeff and sons Vincent and Sebastian; son, Marshall and his two sons, Marco and Giovanni; and her youngest daughter, Samantha. Ellen is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth and daughter Victoria and son Bryan; her sister, Eileen and husband, Richard and their daughters, Mellissa and Alicia; and brother, Ralph and wife, Kathleen and their daughter, Nicole.
