Springfield Center (Otsego County): Esther S. Lindsey 57, of County Rte. #29A died Wednesday June 22nd at St. Peter's Hospital.
Born November 3, 1958 in Little Falls, NY to Frederick and Lillian (Comstock) Hilley. She worked in the health care industry most recently at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed sewing, camping, fishing, hunting, taking care of others, cruises, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two sons; Joel (Clarissa Chichester) Schultz of East Berne and William (Kelly) Schultz of Worcester, 4 grandchildren; Aydan, Madison, Damion, and Jalvin, three sisters; Justine Merwin of South Carolina, Barbara Aker of East Berne, and Sandra Roe of Middleburgh along with several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date to be announced. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Esther to the Springfield Library, 129 Co. Rd. 29A, Springfield Center, NY 13468 or the Springfield Fire Department, Doyle Rd., Springfield Center, NY 13468.
