CHARLOTTEVILLE - Evelyn B. Meyer, 78, passed away Nov. 1, 2024 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown with her husband by her side.

She was born Dec. 24, 1945 in Stamford, the daughter of Preston Franklin and Evelyn Mae (Titus) Berry.

Evelyn attended school in South Kortright, Stamford and graduated from Charlotte Valley Central School. She was employed at Story House, Charlotteville for more than 25 years and retired from Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.

She enjoyed baking, cooking and circle word puzzles. She loved and adored all her family.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Meyer; daughter, Julie (Joseph) Carnevale; grandchildren, Jonathan and Jennifer Carnevale; sister, Carolyn Collins; sisters-in-law, Pennie Anteman, Marie Berry, and Fran Meyer; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, William and Edward Berry.

Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Worcester.

A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, in Charlotteville Cemetery, Baptist Church Rd., Charlotteville, with the Rev. Judith Thistle, officiating.
