PITTSFIELD - Florence Owens, 79, of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully at home, on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023.
Florence was born on Aug. 24, 1943, in Pine Bush, a daughter of the late Burt and Violette (Banks) Lockwood.
Florence was employed by Chase Memorial Nursing Home in New Berlin as a CNA for more than 25 years.
She is survived by her loving children, Alicia (Dennis) Nipstad, Vicky Miller, Bruce (Rhea) Brown Jr., Scott (Monica) Brown, and Edward (Jill) Brown; as well as seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Florence was the youngest of 13 siblings and leaves behind brothers, Adrian and Vick Lockwood; and sister, Ruth Lockwood.
Florence was predeceased by her husband, Druh Owens, in 2009.
Her family has entrusted her care to the Johnston & Stanimer Funeral Home in Morris.
