EDMESTON - Frances Jean Losee, 88, of Edmeston, passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, in New Berlin.
Jean was born on Nov. 3, 1932, in Pittsfield, daughter of the late Claude Robert and Beula (Penner) Mumbulo.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ed, in 2017; son, Richard Edward Losee; siblings, Anna Mumbulo, Robert Mumbulo, Marion Shaw, Genevieve Porter, Emma Mumbulo, Bill Mumbulo, Dan Mumbulo and Dora Davisson; and son-in-law, Burt Archer.
She is survived by her children, Donald and Karen Losee of Edmeston, Karen Losee Lewis of Michigan and Carol Archer of Edmeston; grandchildren Christopher, Matthew (Heather), Calvin and Jake (Lacey); great-grandchildren, Mackenna, Madelyn and Harper; and siblings, Gertrude Reed and Helen Alcott. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
A lifetime resident of the area, Jean was an employee of Pathfinder Village for 42 years.
She was active with the Edmeston Fire Department Auxiliary and Second Baptist Church.
Graveside committal services will be held in the spring in Edmeston Union Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Edmeston Fire Department, or Pathfinder Village in loving memory of Jean.
