Otego, New York - OTEGO - Gene A. Ouimet passed away peacefully Saturday, March 28, 2026. Gene was born Nov. 30, 1933, in Otego.
His memorial service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 14 in Evergreen Cemetery in Otego with Fr. Ben Ampong, officiating. A celebration of life luncheon will be held after the service at Club 55 in Sidney. A Mass in memory of Gene and Irma Ouimet will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 13 at Sacred Heart Church in Sidney.
