DELHI - George Edward Stanton, 68, passed away on July 13, 2021, at Albany Medical Center following a short illness.
Born Nov. 20, 1952 in Newark, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Robert and Edna (Schmidt) Stanton.
Mr. Stanton was married to Peter Riggs Kaiser who passed away on Jan. 5, 2014.
George worked in interior design as a project manager for Sygrove Associates, Inc. in New York City, until his retirement when he and Peter decided to relocate and make Delhi their home.
He attended church at St. John's Episcopal Church in Delhi.
George is survived by his sister, Deborah Borneo of Delhi; nieces, Sarah Stanton of Walton and Danielle Borneo of Florida; grandnephew, Gabriel Stanton; and several close friends also survive.
A service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 21, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 134 ½ Main Street, Delhi, followed by burial at Woodland Cemetery, Delhi.
