MARGARETVILLE - Gladys Belle Shultis, 95, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, at Mountainside Residential Care Center. Belle, as many knew her, was predeceased by her husband of more than 65 years, Linn Shultis.
Belle is survived by her sons, Lee (Linda), Larry (Carol) and Keith (Amber). Her grandchildren, Allyn (Megan), Lori (Russell), Larry, Jason, Larissa and Trisha (Matt) also survive her. She was a great-grandmother to Connor, Cameron, Justin, Dane and Tara.
While raising her family, Belle very much enjoyed cooking, being a homemaker, playing cards with family and friends and mostly enjoyed family time.
Visitation for Belle will be from noon until 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, at the Presbyterian Church in Margaretville. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Shirley Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Sanford Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Belle's memory may be made to a cancer organization of one's choice.
Arrangements are entrusted to Miller Funeral Home, Roxbury.
