Oneonta, NY - ONEONTA - Glenn P. Wright, 86, passed away on Monday, Nov. 3, 2025.

He was born on Aug. 14, 1939, in Compton, California, the son of Walter and Laura (Florida) Wright.

Glenn served in the United States Air Force from 1962 to 1974.

He was a dedicated member of the Elm Park United Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir and served as sanctuary steward. He retired from the New York State Department of Health as a Medical Records Supervisor.

Glenn is survived by his children, Rhonda Boatner, Kimberly Wright, Jon Wright and Robert Wright

He was predeceased by his partner, Marshal Webster.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Elm Park United Methodist Church, 401 Chestnut St., Oneonta, with the Rev. John Buddle officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Milford Cemetery, 89 North Main St., Milford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elm Park United Methodist Church.
